In a statement published on his Twitter account, Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca shared the latest official coronavirus figures in the country on Monday.
According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 199,906, after 1,293 more people tested positive for the virus over the past 24 hours.
173,111 people have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.
While 1,026 patients are in critical condition, there are some 368 patients who are mechanically ventilated.
3,381,650 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
