Coronavirus: 15 more people died in Turkey in the last 24

15 people have died from coronavirus pandemic in the last 24 hours in Turkey, rising the country’s death toll from the virus to 4,807, announced Fahrettin Koca, Turkish Health Minister, on his Twitter account on Sunday.

Turkey has so far reported 178,239 confirmed coronavirus cases, an increase of 1,562 cases in the last 24 hours.

151,417 patients suffering from the disease have fully recovered from the infection and been discharged from hospital.

While 717 patients are being treated in intensive care unit, there are some 290 patients who are mechanically ventilated.

A total of 2,632,171 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted in the country. (ILKHA)
