Turkey’s daily death toll from coronavirus drops to 14

14 people have died from coronavirus pandemic in the last 24 hours in Turkey, rising the country’s death toll from the virus to 4,792, announced Fahrettin Koca, Turkish Health Minister, on his Twitter account on Saturday.

Turkey has so far reported 176,677 confirmed coronavirus cases, an increase of 1,459 cases in the last 24 hours.

150,087 patients suffering from the disease have fully recovered from the infection and been discharged from hospital.

While 684 patients are being treated in intensive care unit, there are some 284 patients who are mechanically ventilated.

A total of 2,586,995 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted in the country. (ILKHA)
