Turkey’s death toll from coronavirus rises to 4,763

17 people have died from coronavirus pandemic in the last 24 hours in Turkey, rising the country’s death toll from the virus to 4,763, announced Fahrettin Koca, Turkish Health Minister, on his Twitter account on Thursday.

Turkey has so far reported 174,023 confirmed coronavirus cases, an increase of 987 cases in the last 24 hours.

147,860 patients suffering from the disease have fully recovered from the infection and been discharged from hospital.

While 643 patients are being treated in intensive care unit, there are some 266 patients who are mechanically ventilated.

A total of 2,500,890 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted in the country. (ILKHA)
