Turkey’s death toll from coronavirus reaches 4,669

21 people have died from coronavirus pandemic in the last 24 hours in Turkey, rising the country’s death toll from the virus to 4,669, announced Fahrettin Koca, Turkish Health Minister, on his Twitter account on Saturday.

Turkey has so far reported 169,218 confirmed coronavirus cases, an increase of 878 cases in the last 24 hours.

135,322 patients suffering from the disease have fully recovered from the infection and been discharged from hospital.

While 591 patients are being treated in intensive care unit, there are some 264 patients who are mechanically ventilated.

A total of 2,303,258 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted in the country. (ILKHA)
