Turkey’s daily death toll from coronavirus drops to 18

18 people have died from coronavirus pandemic in the last 24 hours in Turkey, rising the country’s death toll from the virus to 4,648, announced Fahrettin Koca, Turkish Health Minister, on his Twitter account on Friday.

Turkey has so far reported 168,340 confirmed coronavirus cases, an increase of 930 cases in the last 24 hours.

133,400 patients suffering from the disease have fully recovered from the infection and been discharged from hospital.

While 592 patients are being treated in intensive care unit, there are some 269 patients who are mechanically ventilated.

A total of 2,267,412 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted in the country. (ILKHA)
