Turkey’s death toll from coronavirus rises to 3,894

53 people have died from coronavirus pandemic in the last 24 hours in Turkey, rising the country’s death toll from the virus to 3,894, announced Fahrettin Koca, Turkish Health Minister, on his Twitter account on Tuesday.

Turkey has so far reported 141,475 confirmed coronavirus cases, an increase of 1,704 cases in the last 24 hours.

1,045 patients are being treated in intensive care unit. Of those, 576 people are mechanically ventilated patients.

98,889 patients have fully recovered from the infection and been discharged from hospital.

A total of 1,440,671 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted in the country. (ILKHA)
