55 coronavirus patients lost their lives in the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 6,541 in the country.
1,561 new cases were confirmed with coronavirus, taking the number of confirmed cases to 104, 691 in the country, according to Kianoush Jahanpour.
2,711 patients are in critical condition and of those suffering from the disease, 83,837 have gained recovery.
So far, 558,899 tests have been taken across the country to detect infected cases.
According to the Johns Hopkins University, the global death toll from coronavirus has surpassed 269.867 with 3,861,697 cases and more than 1,290,364 recoveries. (ILKHA)
