78 coronavirus patients lost their lives in the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 6,418 in the country.
1,680 new cases were confirmed with coronavirus, taking the number of confirmed cases to 101,650 in the country, according to Kianoush Jahanpour.
Some 2,735 patients are being treated in intensive care units at the moment.
Until now, 81,587 patients suffering from the novel coronavirus have recovered and been discharged from hospitals, Jahanpour added.
So far, 931,275 tests have been taken across the country to detect infected cases. (ILKHA)
