Turkey’s death toll from coronavirus rises to 3,520

59 people have died from coronavirus pandemic in the last 24 hours in Turkey, rising the country’s death toll from the virus to 3,520, announced Fahrettin Koca, Turkish Health Minister, on his Twitter account on Tuesday.

Turkey has so far reported 129,491 confirmed coronavirus cases, an increase of 1,832 cases in the last 24 hours.

1,338 patients are being treated in intensive care unit. Of those, 707 people are mechanically ventilated patients.

73,285 patients have fully recovered from the infection and been discharged from hospital.

A total of 1,171,138 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted in the country. (ILKHA)
