63 coronavirus patients lost their lives in the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 6,340 in the country.
1,323 new cases were confirmed with coronavirus, taking the number of confirmed cases to 99,970 in the country, according to Kianoush Jahanpour.
Some 2,685 patients are being treated in intensive care units at the moment.
Until now, 80,475 patients suffering from the novel coronavirus have recovered and been discharged from hospitals, Jahanpour added.
So far, 519,543 tests have been taken across the country to detect infected cases. (ILKHA)
