Turkey’s death toll from coronavirus rises to 3,258

84 people have died from coronavirus pandemic in the last 24 hours in Turkey, rising the country’s death toll from the virus to 3,258, said Fahrettin Koca, Turkish Health Minister, on his Twitter account on Friday.

Turkey has so far reported 122,392 confirmed coronavirus cases, an increase of 2,188 cases in the last 24 hours.

1,480 patients are being treated in intensive care unit. Of those, 818 people are mechanically ventilated patients.

53,088 patients have fully recovered from the infection and been discharged from hospital.

A total of 1,075,048 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted in the country. (ILKHA)
