63 coronavirus patients lost their lives in the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 6,091 in the country.
1,006 new cases were confirmed with coronavirus, taking the number of confirmed cases to 95,646 in the country, according to Kianoush Jahanpour.
While some 2,899 patients are being treated in intensive care units at the moment, 76,318 patients suffering from the novel coronavirus have recovered and been discharged from hospitals, Jahanpour added.
So far, 475,023 tests have been taken across the country to detect infected cases. (ILKHA)
