Turkey’s death toll from coronavirus rises to 3,081

89 people have died from coronavirus pandemic in the last 24 hours in Turkey, rising the country’s death toll from the virus to 3,081, said Fahrettin Koca, Turkish Health Minister, on his Twitter account on Tuesday.

Turkey has so far reported 117,589 confirmed coronavirus cases, an increase of 2,936 cases in the last 24 hours.

1,574 patients are being treated in intensive care unit. Of those, 831 people are mechanically ventilated patients.

44,022 patients have fully recovered from the infection and been discharged from hospital.

A total of 991,613 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted in the country. (ILKHA)
