Turkey’s death toll from coronavirus rises to 2,992

92 people have died from coronavirus pandemic in the last 24 hours in Turkey, rising the country’s death toll from the virus to 2,992, said Fahrettin Koca, Turkish Health Minister, on his Twitter account on Tuesday.

Turkey has so far reported 114,653 confirmed coronavirus cases, an increase of 2,392 cases in the last 24 hours.

1,621 patients are being treated in intensive care unit. Of those, 882 people are mechanically ventilated patients.

38,809 patients have fully recovered from the infection and been discharged from hospital.

A total of 948,115 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted in the country. (ILKHA)
