Turkey: 99 people die from coronavirus in the past 24 hours

99 people have died from coronavirus pandemic in the last 24 hours in Turkey, rising the country’s death toll from the virus to 2,805, said Fahrettin Koca, Turkish Health Minister, on his Twitter account on Sunday.

Turkey has so far reported 110,130 confirmed coronavirus cases, an increase of 2,357 cases in the last 24 hours.

1,776 patients are being treated in intensive care unit. Of those, 883 people are mechanically ventilated patients.

29,140 patients have fully recovered from the infection and been discharged from hospital.

A total of 889,742 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted in the country. (ILKHA)
