The U.S. has the highest death toll from coronavirus in the world, followed by Italy and Spain.

Until now, 118,162 patients suffering from the pandemic have recovered and been discharged from hospital in the country.

New York, which is being hit the hardest by the novel coronavirus in the U.S, has so far reported more than 288,313 confirmed cases, with at least 21,908 deaths.

On the other hand, despite warnings from health experts, some states began loosening the measures imposed to contain the spread of the coronavirus, allowing some shops to reopen.
