Turkey: 127 people die from coronavirus in the past 24 hours

127 people who tested positive for coronavirus have died in Turkey, rising the country’s death toll from the virus to 2,017, announced Fahrettin Koca, Turkish Health Minister, on his Twitter account on Sunday.

Turkey has so far reported 86,306 confirmed coronavirus cases, an increase of 3,977 in the last 24 hours.

As 1,922 patients are being treated in intensive care unit, of those, 1,031 people are mechanically ventilated patients.

11,967 patients have fully recovered from the infection and have been discharged from hospital. (ILKHA)
