The number of confirmed cases has jumped from 165,610 to 189,633 in the country.

The U.S. has the most confirmed active cases in the world and ranks third in the number of total deaths from the virus and has surpassed China in the number of deaths linked to the novel coronavirus.

Italy and Spain lead the world in the deaths from coronavirus pandemic with 12,428 and 8,269, respectively.

Globally, there are more than 850,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus and more than 42,000 deaths from the disease at the moment. (ILKHA)
