Turkish Military launches Operation Kapan-4 Mava against PKK members in southeast Turkey

Turkish Military has launched Operation Kapan-4 Mava in Batman province of southeastern Turkey on Thursday.

795 military personnel, including Gendarmerie Special Operations, Police Special Operations and Security Guards participated in the operation, Turkish Interior Ministry said.

The PKK conflict in Turkey is commonly estimated to have killed around 30,000-40,000 people since 1984. (ILKHA)
