In an extraordinary parliamentary session on Sunday, Iraqi parliament called on the government to expel all foreign troops from the country and to cancel its request for assistance from the US-led coalition.
The Iraqi parliament resolution comes after Qassem Soleimani, the head of Iran's Revolutionary Guards' Quds force, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the senior commander of Iraq’s Hashd al-Shaabi force, and eight others were killed on Friday in a U.S. drone attack outside Baghdad International Airport. (ILKHA)
