"The extradition of 'foreign terrorist fighters' to their countries continues. In this context, today one 'foreign terrorist fighter', a French national, has been deported to his country," the statement said.

On Nov. 9, Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said that Turkey would extradite "foreign terrorist fighters" to their native countries, even if their citizenship had been canceled.

According to the reports, Turkey currently has nearly 1,200 foreign fighters in its prisons, including relatives of the suspects. (ILKHA)
