"The thirteenth joint land patrol between Turkish and Russian units has been completed with UAV support in the eastern Euphrates as according to plan. A total of eight vehicles comprising of four from each side participated in the thirteenth joint land patrol along with UAVs in the Ayn al Arab sector. Turkish and Russian units patrolled an area of 56 km length and 7 km depth,” the statement said.
According to the agreement dealt between Ankara and Moscow on Oct. 22, the patrols should conduct within a depth of up to 10 km inside Syrian territory east and west of the area under Turkey's exclusive control, or 120 km of border between Tal Abyad and Ras al Ayn.
