"Turkey fully complies with the joint agreement signed with USA and Russia and also continues with mine/IED disposal and scouting/reconnaissance in the area. Necessary responses are given to attacks from PKK/YPG terrorists in the scope of self-defense," the Ministry said.
Turkey and The U.S. reached a deal on Oct. 17 to halt Turkey's operation in northern Syria for 120 hours to allow the removal of YPG/PKK members from the safe zone.
Ankara also reached an agreement with Russia to allow the YPG/PKK terror group to withdraw from the safe zone on Oct. 22. (ILKHA)
