"Our principled position for the resolution of the current disagreements in Venezuela through the preferences of the Venezuelan People and dialogue on a legitimate basis has been continuing from the very beginning," said Turkish Foreign Ministry in a statement.
Stating that they welcome the agreement reached between the Venezuelan Government and several opposition parties yesterday (September 16th) in Caracas, the ministry added that they consider this development as a significant and encouraging step towards a solution.
"The support by all the parties to this promising initiative for the preservation of social, political and economic stability in Venezuela is of utmost importance," it noted. (ILKHA)
