The sit-in protest of families, the majority are mothers, outside HDP Diyarbakır office continue on the 10th day.

Families demand their kids back who allegedly kidnapped through the HDP to the rural areas controlled by the PKK.

The number of families increased to 25 when another family joined the sit-in protest outside HDP [People's Democratic Party] office in Diyarbakır, a southeastern province of Turkey.

His son Ömer Tokay was kidnapped to the mountainous areas controlled by the PKK in 2011 with the hand of the BDP under the pretext of a picnic, said father Mehmet Tokay, adding that his son was 14 years old at the time of the abduction.

Reminding that mothers participated in a sit-in protest staged outside Diyarbakir Metropolitan Municipality in 2014, father Tokay noted that since that year he has not received any results despite all his efforts.

Father Tokay stressed that they are burning with longing for his son, therefore joined the action once more, demands for his child to be sent back.

"A picnic was held in Şırnak by the BDP in 2011 when my son was 14 when he was studying at school. He went on a picnic, never came back."

Saying that they participated in the actions launched outside Diyarbakir Municipality in 2014, father Tokay expressed that their only wish is to receive their son back.

"Then they put my son on TV, they made my son talk about the action we were organizing. There he said he missed his mother and his grandmother very much. It was obvious that he was under pressure when he was talking," father said. (ILKHA)
