The event was held by the Qur'an Generation Platform with the theme "Life Is Beautiful with Prayer" at the Süleyman Mosque campus in the Central Sur district of Diyarbakır. Children, as well as their parents, attended the event.

Children who joined to the event along with their parents and relatives carried banners reading "I Love My Prayer", "I pray because I love my Lord", "I cannot live without prayer", "prayer deters from evil" and "prayer is the key to Heaven".

The event, which was held for children studying in different mosques and Qur'an courses in the city during August, was the center of attention of citizens who visited the Süleyman Mosque campus.

Citizens who said they had seen this kind of event for the first time, said they were very happy, took photos and videos with their phones.

After the children performed their afternoon prayers with the congregation, the event began with the recitation of the Qur'an. Hosted by Medeni Taş, the event continued with a salutation speech by Nihat Bünül, Diyarbakır Provincial Coordinator of the Quran Generation Platform.

Speaking to the participants about the importance of prayer, Bünül said that their goal as a platform is to instill awareness of prayer in the community.

"We set out with this goal and believe that a society that performs five times prayer properly will find peace," Bünül said.

Stating that they gave seminars in houses, mosques, and associations with young, old, brothers and sisters, Bünül underlined that their aim is to bring the awareness of prayer to the society.

"Our Lord has told us that prayer will prevent prostitution and evil deeds. Then our prescription is clear. Only a true faith and a righteous prayer can save the people who brutally murdered their wives, their mothers, and their brothers," Bünül noted.

"The key to a healthy generation is faith and prayer"

Bünül underscored that their biggest capital is to teach children to pray and make them pray. "The key to a healthy generation is faith and prayer."

Bünül continued as follows:

"We owe our lives to the superiority of our national and spiritual values as a nation of dignity and power among the nations of the world for centuries. The first of these values is prayer."

For the peace, unity, and brotherhood of society, we need to pass on these important values to future generations. These children, who are the yeast of society, can live in peace as much as they develop spiritually."

"What could be better in this world than the prayer of these immaculate little ones?" Bünül asked and answered as follows:

"If we're going to be happy, let's be happy about it and shed tears of joy." (ILKHA)
