Coast Guard teams in Bodrum, reported that a group of irregular migrants off the coast of Gümüşlük was trying to leave the country by an inflatable boat.
A total of 44 migrants, including 17 men, 9 women, and 18 children, from Afghanistan, who were on an inflatable boat, were apprehended by the coast guard, a statement said.
Migrants brought to shore by Coast Guard boat were handed over to Provincial Directorate of Migration administration after the identification process. (ILKHA)
