The stationery assistance will be distributed to meet the basic stationery needs of the previously determined primary, secondary and high school students, especially in Diyarbakır and its districts.
Stationery aid is repeated regularly every year said Recep Bozkır, a member of the Board of the Orphans Foundation, also provided information about the work done on the subject.
"We are making our stationery assistance preparations before the start of the 2019-2020 academic year. As we finish our preparations later this week, we will be delivering our stationery to orphaned families," he said.
Noting that the distribution of aid will start in Diyarbakır and its districts as first, Bozkır further added that they will then deliver assistance to orphan families in the neighboring provinces and districts as much as they can.
"We provide assistance to the needy students whose applications have been made before and which we have identified. We aim to reach an estimated thousand students this year," Bozkır said.
Bozkır added that their stationery aid packages contain stationery materials such as notebooks, pencils, pencil sharpener, erasers, paints that teachers have requested from students and that students may need.
At the end of his message, Bozkır underlined that their goal is to reach more orphan children and their families, and to achieve this goal, they need more help from philanthropists. (ILKHA)
