In his statement on the prisoners of the occupying zionist regime, Guterres said that the occupying prisoners would be monitored in any report addressing the situation in Gaza.

Guterres said he would also raise the issue in talks with heads of state at the UN General Assembly's meetings next month.

Guterres said he would also ask Nickolay Mladenov, the Middle East Special Representative, to work for any alliance in accordance with the spirit of UN resolution 2474 on the release of the occupiers held captive in Gaza.

Guterres made these statements during a meeting with the parents of the occupying soldier, Hedar Golden, who was held captive by Izzettin Qassam units, the military wing of Hamas.

Golden's father and brother, encouraged by Guterres' statements, have also asked Netanyahu to work more actively to take the occupying prisoners, claiming that the "international community" is doing better than Netanyahu.

While Guterres has made such great efforts to free the occupying soldiers who were taken captive during an illegitimate attack on Gaza, he does not want to see the fact that there are 5,700 Palestinians who have been taken captive.

The Palestinians in occupying dungeons have been exposed to inhuman and tortures while many become sick in jails. (ILKHA)
