If the certificate of the election is repealed, re-election will be held in 2020 for the Mukhtars in Turkey.
Turkey voted for more than 50 thousand Mukhtars on 31 March, and shortly after the election, the High Election Board began to receive complaints against the newly elected Mukhtars.
Following the 31 March elections, there were numerous objections to the High Election Board regarding the Mukhtars elections.
The process of reviewing the appeal file of over 3,000 High Election Board is continuing.
As a result of this review, the certificate election of neighborhoods or villages mukhtars may be canceled and a new election will be held on June 7, 2020.
The most important reason for all these objections and discussions about mukhtars are the attractive conditions of mukhtars recent ownership rights, the payment of premiums by the state and the issuance of a gun license. (ILKHA)
