Motorways, bridges and public transport to be free on Eid al-Adha

The decision for the bridges and highways under the responsibility of General Directorate of Highways and public transportation services carried out by the municipalities to be free due to the holiday of Eid al-Adha, published in the Official Gazette

The decision will be valid from 00.00 pm on Saturday 10 August 2019 (night connecting Friday to Saturday) until 07.00 pm on Thursday 15 August 2019.

Highways under the responsibility of the General Directorate of Highways, 15 July Martyrs Bridge and Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge will be free for vehicles between the mentioned dates. Build-Operate-Transfer projects are excluded from the charge.

Starting from 00.00 on Sunday, August 11, 2019 (the night connecting Saturday to Sunday) until 24.00 on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, free services will be provided on public transport carried out by the municipalities and their associations, institutions, and enterprises. (ILKHA)
