Warplanes of Hafter forces targeted the Al-Qale neighborhood, where the Tebu tribe lives, in the southern city of Murzuk.
The attack, in which a wedding procession was targeted, left 41 people dead and 51 injured.
There has been no comment from Haftar forces on the matter.
Fighter jets belonging to Haftar forces targeted the Tecura migrant shelter last month, killing more than 60 irregular migrants of different nationality in the attack.
The attack comes as Haftar's forces wage a campaign against the UN-backed government in Tripoli. Haftar's forces launched an offensive to take the capital in April but have struggled to make progress in recent weeks.
In a statement issued on Monday, the Tripoli-based administration denounced crimes committed by Haftar’s forces, and called on the UN Security Council and the international community to take responsibility and investigate the crimes committed." (ILKHA)
