Turkey receives four more Chinook helicopters

As tensions continue between Turkey and the United States over the F-35 fighter jet project, the American Boeing firm has completed the delivery of another four Chinook helicopters.

The statement on the matter was made on the US Embassy's Twitter account.

Saying that Turkish Land Forces took delivery of four more U.S. Boeing CH-47F Chinook helicopters at the port of Izmir, the embassy said: "Turkey now has eleven of the newest and most advanced heavy-lift rotary-wing aircraft available."

The embassy also shared the take-off images of one the helicopter through the Twitter account. (ILKHA)
