S-400 first-party materials in Ankara

Turkish Ministry of National Defense announced Friday that the first party materials of the S-400 long-range zone air and missile defense system have been deployed in Ankara.

Procurement contract of S-400 Long-Range Air Defence Missile System regarding the meeting of air missile defense requirement of Turkey was signed on 11 April 2017.

Within the scope of the contract, deployment of the first party materials concerning the S-400 long-range air defense missile system to Mürted Air Base/Ankara started as of 12 July 2019. (ILKHA)
