In a weekly foreign agenda assessment, HUDA PAR Headquarters released a statement on the Libyan civil war, the ongoing Syrian crisis since 2011, the call of Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement for "common front of Islam", and the outrageous attacks in Sri Lanka last Sunday.

HUDA PAR said the call of Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement for a "Common Islamic Front" is very appropriate against the so-called "deal of the century", a project of the United States.

Efforts to resolve the Libyan crisis through diplomatic negotiations have been failed. The peace conference did not succeed because of the conflicts, and Turkey was withdrawn from the conference because of the exclusionary policies.

The conference, which was planned to be repeated in April 2019, was canceled one more time due to the Tripoli operation initiated by General Hafter.

The crisis in which Russia is involved in oil production and pipeline project is growing rapidly today. The silence of international forces, the military support provided to illegal warring-parties and organizations in the process shows that the main goal is to maintain the continuity of divided Libya.

"Islamic countries prefer their own political interests in the region to the interest of the Libyan people and lead Libya to disaster," HUDA PAR said.

"It is very important that Libya's problems be solved as soon as before they fall into the situation of other blood-crying Islamic countries," HUDA PAR said and warned that this solution should not be sought in Italy.

"A political negotiation process must be carried out urgently under the leadership of the African Union and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

It is not possible to initiate such a process without stopping countries such as Egypt, Saudi and United Arab Emirates, which provide military and logistic support to illegal structures in the country."

Syria crisis

It was noted in the foreign agenda assessment, that the sensitivity of the Western countries towards the Cathedral of Notre Dame, which had been burning recently, has not been opposed to the deliberately destroyed history in Syria for 8 years.

No concrete progress has been made in the Syrian issue since 2011, where today negotiations on the secure zone have been carried out intensively.

Keeping national interests, ideologies and sects in the forefront have cost millions of Syrians lives.

It was not possible to see the sensitivity of the Western countries for the history and generation that had been consciously destroyed in Syria for 8 years that the West shown towards Notre Dame Cathedral, which accidentally burned.

The interests of the Syrian people are ignored today regarding the creation and supervision of the safe zone in which the concerned parties open negotiations in the shadow of their national interest.

There is a clear disagreement over the control of the area, which is planned to be removed from the arms and opened to civilian settlements. Creation of a transition government in Syria by political negotiation pressure have gained great importance.

Outrageous attacks in Sri Lanka

Reminding that 8 bombings attacks targeted at churches and hotels took place in Sri Lanka on Sunday, HUDA PAR condemned the attacks and labeled as terror attacks.

At least 359 people were killed in the attacks and nearly 500 were injured. The attacks on the Christian holy Easter Day left more dead behind.

"No matter by whom it is made, attacks at places of worship and civil people is never acceptable. There is no reasonable justification for such attacks," HUDA PAR said.

Saying that these attacks in Sri Lanka, where experienced 25 years of civil war and still failed to resolve ethnic problems, continued the abuse of minorities, HUDA PAR warned that they were aimed at resuming religious or ethnic chaos.

HUDA PAR, at the end of the statement, conveyed its condolences to the Sri Lankan people and to the families those lost their members. (ILKHA)
