Russian President Vladimir Putin met with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in Vladivostok for trade and to solve problems on the Korean Peninsula.

Voiced his satisfaction about North Korea's normalization efforts with the United States, Putin said Kim's visit to Russia would serve for the development of bilateral relations.

North Korea leader Kim said his meeting with Putin would help solve the problem in the Korean Peninsula and develop bilateral relations.
