The preparations for the "Understanding of the Prophet and Living His Sunnah" event, which organized by the Diyarbakır Coordination of the Prophet Lovers Foundation, are continuing at full speed to be held on April 28 at Newroz rally area.

As preparations continued, the book "40 Hadith 40 Lessons" written by researcher-writer Özkan Yaman was distributed to every house.

Hüsamettin Bönül, Diyarbakır Provincial Coordinator of Prophet Lover Foundation, who provided information about the event, which will be the final of Mawlid al-Nabi held across the country, said that the preparations had been going on for a month and a half and that their work was going on rapidly.

"We started this work by sending salawat to the Prophet, we have launched a salawat campaign," Bönül said.

Giving information about the advertisement and promotion activities, Bönül said they have printed 15 thousand posters especially this year.

"We have printed 210 thousand flyers in Diyarbakır and its region to distribute every house. We hope that all our brothers will deliver the flyers to every house to convey this message. We have put 150 awnings in a way that can open to all the busy streets of Diyarbakır."

Stating that the theme of "Understanding of the Prophet and Living His Sunnah" event is "Prophet Muhammad, the Guide to Morals and Justice," Bönül noted that they are distributing about 100.000 books in order to understand Prophet Muhammad, living his life, and learning His justice.

"These books will get into every house. This is the book of Hadith. As in our theme, the book will contribute to our understanding of the moral and justice of the Messenger of Allah, and our people will benefit from it."

Underlining that Mawlid al-Nabi is an activity that has been going on for years and is familiar to the people of Diyarbakır Bönül noted that people of Diyarbakır are attending this event with a great response.

"We are inviting our people again with great enthusiasm to understand the Messenger of Allah and experience His Sunnah," Bönül said as his last words. (ILKHA)
