Villagers of Karabudak (Sipyag) village, which is about 20 kilometers away from Diyarbakır's Çınar district, claimed they have seen leopard cubs.

Abdulkadir Kızıltoprak, one of the eyewitnesses, told ILKHA that his brother went to his fields to graze sheep and then saw 3 baby leopards in a nest in the greens.

"After taking one in his hand and loving him a little, he takes the photo and puts him back," Abdulkadir said.

"The next day the shepherds see their mother come and take the babies to their mouth to an unknown place," Abdulkadir added while cited shepherds that the mother leopard was a brown animal big like a sheep.

"So first we informed the gendarmerie, and then we informed The Nature Conservation Agency. They came and started searching the area."

Authorities confirmed that the cubs belong to the leopard

General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks authorities did not find anything as a result of their search around in the village said villagers while they have confirmed that the photos of the offspring that they were informed belong to leopard.
