The "Blue Whale" game, which is frequently on the agenda, took another life recently.

According to allegations, a 14-year-old girl ended her life as a result of the Blue Whale game while 4 other young girls attempted suicide, but they were given up at the last moment.

Five young girls, aged between 14-15, who live in Akköprü Neighborhood went to the top of Akköprü hill for a picnic at 14.00 on April 2, 2019, said Van Family, Labor and Social Services in a statement regarding the incident.

The statement read that Sevda Erkaçmaz named young girl jumped off the hill and ended her own life while families and security forces, who were reported immediately after the incident, prevented other girls from committing suicide.

"Police teams have taken children to the Children Department Directorate for investigation while statements were taken in the accompanying of our professional staff through the child monitoring center," the statement read.

It has been reported that the death occurred as a result of the "Blue Whale" game as a result of the security and prosecution investigation.

"In order to prevent these sad events occurring in our country from time to time, families should take their children to have their world and religious education and ensure that they stay away from objectionable sites and games in the media."

Deceased girl Sevda Erkaçmaz was reportedly buried on Wednesday after the funeral prayer.
