Votes recounts in 18 districts of Istanbul

Turkiye's High Election Board (YSK) recounts local election invalid-votes in 15 districts of Istanbul following objections, while the decision was made for the all votes to be recounted in three other districts.

Speaking to reporters in Ankara, YSK head Sadi Güven said that the recount would mostly focus on invalid votes, adding that this was not an unprecedented decision.

The recount of votes came after the AK Party objection for 18 central districts of Istanbul.

YSK recounts invalid votes in 15 districts while it recounts the whole votes in Çatalca, Kartal and Silivri districts. (ILKHA)
