Ali Erbaş, the head of Religious Affairs [Diyanet], made a written statement about the attacks of zionist invaders against those who prayed in the Masjid Al-Aqsa. Erbaş cursed the attacks.
Erbaş invited the world public opinion to fulfill the necessity of morality and law in the face of the attacks on the land prophets, the common heritage of humanity and the sanctuaries.
Stating that the occupiers violated the Haram Aqsa's name and attacked imams and innocent civilians who worshipped, Erbaş noted that the raving oppressors have once again violated the innocence of the sanctuary, ignoring humanity, conscience, morality, and international law.
"I strongly curse the oppressors who are raging enough to attack the people who worship in the mosque and the officials of the religion."
"Of course, all the oppressors have been burned of their own burning fire, and history bears witness to the destruction of many tyrants. What is important is who is taking what attitude towards tyranny and injustice."
"It is unthinkable that all members of religions and beliefs, those have a conscience, and those who respect human rights and dignity, to remain silent in the face of the attacks on the lands of prophets, the common heritage of humanity, and the sanctuaries."
"For this purpose, I invite the world public opinion, especially Jews and Christians, to fulfill the necessity of morality and law and to show the necessary reaction."
"Otherwise, those who remain silent against the oppressors will be condemned eternally in the conscience of humanity," Erbaş said. (ILKHA)
