It was stated that action plans were prepared for schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in the context of the "development of gender equality in education" project, jointly funded by the European Union and Turkiye and coordinated by the Ministry of National Education, Secondary Education Directorate General.
Underlining that the practice in question is against nature, writer Sema Maraşlı, who responded to the project, reminded that Allah has imposes different duties and responsibilities on each sex, and warned that such an application may lead people to homosexuality.
Maraşlı stated that women and men are equal in terms of human rights but not equal in terms of gender roles. "To believe that gender roles are imposed by society is nothing more than an empty word, nonsense. There is no logical and scientific proves."
"Our Lord informs us that He has created man and woman superior at different points, and He says 'do not be imitate of each other'. Biological, psychological, physical, there are many differences," she noted.
Describing gender equality project as very dangerous and against nature, Maraşlı underscored that it is to disrupt the mind of small children, to disrupt the sexual identity and psychology of children.
"Gender equality is to disrupt the next generation altogether. This practice is not like one of the lots of mistakes of national education that is possible to return. Children's behavior will be changed by education until the authorities realize. When thought changes, behavior changes."
Maraşlı lastly called on families, NGOs, faith-based media and social media users to react individually to this practice. (ILKHA)
