A day after the United States gave the parties 30 days to end the conflict in Yemen, it was suggested that the Saudis-led coalition had deployed troops to the port city of Hudaydah, which is strategically important.

According to local military sources, about 30,000 troops were sent to the south and east of Hudaydah. Military sources said that modern military materials, such as armored vehicles and tanks, were being shipped to the region for a major operation.

On Thursday, the US administration announced a 30-day period for the cease-fire and peace talks to begin.

After the US call, the United Nations Special Envoy for Yemen, Martin Griffiths said, "We are determined to put the parties in Yemen at the negotiating table within a month." (ILKHA)
