President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had a telephone conversation with President Donald Trump of the U.S. on Sunday evening.
The two leaders discussed the bilateral relations and exchanged views regarding the fight against terror, the Jamal Khashoggi case and the latest developments in Syria, said Presidency of Turkiye.
Also touching upon the judicial process with regard to the U.S. Pastor Andrew Brunson, President Erdoğan and President Trump reaffirmed their determination for the normalization and development of the Turkiye-U.S. cooperation in every area and discussed the cooperation in the fight against terror, including FETO.
The importance of the immediate implementation of the roadmap concerning Manbij was stressed and the importance of the Idlib agreement was highlighted during the phone call.
The two leaders agreed on the need to clear up the Jamal Khashoggi incident with all aspects. (ILKHA)
