The accident took place at 10.30 am in the village of Samanlı of Şemdinli district. According to the information, a military vehicle traveling from Samanlı village to the direction of Derecik village failed to negotiate the bend and rolled over.
Two soldiers lost their lives in the accident, while 7 of them were wounded. Upon giving the news, many health teams were sent to the region. The wounded soldiers were rushed to Yüksekova State Hospital.
As the wounded soldiers continued their treatment, an investigation into the accident was initiated. (ILKHA)
