It was stated that 119 people lost their lives and 951 people were wounded in the wrecks from the end of work on Friday, August 17, when the holiday of the Eid began, to the day of August 26.

Since the beginning of the holiday until the 7th day, 119 people lost their lives in various places in Turkiye in traffic accidents, while 951 people were injured.

The number of those killed in traffic accidents occurs in rural settlements and urban roads reportedly increased when compared to the Eid holiday last year.
