Representatives Arab communities, such as Iraq, Yemen, Egypt, Syria, Libya and the Palestinian in Turkiye, civil society leaders, and business people attended to the press conference held in the headquarter of Association of Anatolian Businessmen [ASKON], in order to support Turkiye.
President of ASKON who made the opening speech, Hasan Ali Cesur stated that Turkiye is in a very delicate process, "Our country's economy has been systematically targeted by the groups that cannot digest President Erdoğan's rightly 'one minute' and 'the world is bigger than 5' calls. In fact, this attack is not only against Turkiye, it is an intimidation operation against an attempt to defend the rights of the oppressed. The targets of these pressure elements led by-US, are very clear."
Representatives of the Arab community in Turkiye Dr. Hidir Al-Sotari stated that they took part in the Press Conference to Support Turkiye on behalf of Businessmen Arab community in Turkiye, the Arab youth.
Calling Arab people to support Turkish lira, Sotari said, "There are 5 million people live in Turkiye. Supporting Turkish lira is the observance of religious and moral support, which should be considered by all Arab and Muslim people."
Stating that the Arab community in Turkiye feels sad in any damage to Turkiye, Sotari expressed his discomfort against fake news on the economy.
"Turkiye has reached the power to make its own decisions and that is why it imposed these attacks," said the representative of Yemeni people in Turkiye Nabil Ganim. "However, we believe that Turkiye has the strength to overcome all these," he added.
Iraqi Community Representative in Turkiye, Hussein al Savab drew the attention of those waiting for the polarization took place between Turkiye and the US, said, "Besides this, we understand that the Arab peoples are siding Turkiye in this crisis. This crisis actually hit the US more than it hits Turkiye."
Egyptian community in Turkey Representative Dr. Ahmet Matar noted that Islamic countries should take steps in the financial unity.
Syrian businessman Mohammed Mellahi also recalled that Turkiye has supported Syrian people in the difficult days, said, "As Syrians, we are ready to do our best in this difficult time."
