Hamas' meeting with Palestinian groups yesterday evening ended with an emphasis on commitment to partnership and national reconciliation.

The meeting also called for the abolition of the blockage on the Gaza Strip, the implementing of the reconciliation into the life and the rejection of the Treaty of the Century.

All groups, including Fatah, attended the meeting. Palestine reconciliation discussed the ceasefire, humanitarian projects to be carried out in the Gaza Strip, removal of the blockade and sanctions imposed on Gaza at the meeting.

The meeting also stated that it was agreed to keep the Palestinian people away from the war and adhere to the ceasefire agreement in 2014 as long as the occupation regime is adhered to, while protecting the right of resistance.

Palestinian groups rejecting the requirement of paying political fees for humanitarian projects have also agreed on the rejection of the Treaty of the Century.

Palestinian groups praised Hamas, who organized the meeting and showed its commitment to political partnership.

We will go back to Cairo to follow up all files related to the Palestinian case

Following the meeting with Palestinian groups in Gaza, Hamas Political Unit member Husam Badran, who made a statement to the Palestinian Information Center, announced that they would go back to Cairo to follow up all files related to the Palestinian cause after completing the ongoing consultations.

Recalling that they are happy to meet with representatives of Palestinian groups in Gaza and national figures, Bedran reminded them that Hamas has been listening and giving information to them since old times. (ILKHA)
