The State of Emergency, which was announced on July 21, 2016, following the US-backed July 15 coup attempt, has been extended the 6^th time for another 3 months.

The Prime Minister's resolution on the state of emergency to be extended for another 3 months has been accepted in Parliamentary General Assembly to be valid on Friday, January 19 at 01:00. (ILKHA)
